Castle Connolly has released their 2023 inaugural list of top Hispanic and Latino doctors in the nation. Latinos comprise 19% of the U.S population, while only 6% of physicians across the country are Latino/Latina. Dr. Rebeles is amongst less than 3% of physicians who are Latina. The 234 doctors recognized represent 60 specialties across 32 states. They have demonstrated outstanding expertise, patient care, and contributions to the field of healthcare.

The new distinction is part of Castle Connolly’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Initiative designed to honor top clinicians and enable patients to find Castle Connolly Top Doctors who have shared backgrounds and experiences. Presented in partnership with National Latino Physician’s Day, all Castle Connolly Top Hispanic & Latino Doctors are nominated by their peers, and then the Castle Connolly research team evaluates important criteria to determine who makes the list. Some of the criteria used include professional qualifications, education, professional reputation, disciplinary history, interpersonal skills and outcomes data.
